As you leave the classroom for the summer, remember 4 th of July is coming! Time for the NWACA Fourth of July Parade and Freedom Fest! This year, the parade route starts near Hill Elementary and ends at Anderson High School’s north parking lot. Some will be walking to the parade route, but you may want to use your bike or scooter or trike – or maybe your family will drive and park in the Anderson High School south parking lot. Or maybe you’ll get a group together to enter the float contest! Any way you go, we look forward to seeing you there!
- 9:00 July 4 th – opening ceremonies; parade starts at the corner of Robbie Drive and Cima Serena Drive
- 9:30 – 11:30 – Freedom Fest at Anderson High School. There will be face painting, a petting zoo, music from the Anderson High band, games, watermelon, donuts, tacos, and lots of people to enjoy the day!
Please mark your calendars! And enjoy your whole summer! 4 th of July Committee – Northwest Austin Civic Association (NWACA)
