Meet the Librarians
Ms. Moore has worked in AISD for 25 years- first as a second and third grade teacher and now as a librarian. She loves being a Dillo! She enjoys baking most of all, and also camping in her travel trailer, reading, and quilting. Ms. Moore was born in Austin and graduated from Anderson High School. She attended Baylor University – Sic ’em!
Mrs. Banda was a third-grade bilingual teacher before joining the Hill family. She has worked in the library for 5 years and has loved every minute. She and her husband, Daniel, have two children. Madelynn is student at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and Logan attends Murchison Middle School. They have a very active Jack Russell Terrier named Petee that keeps them on their toes!
Hill Library Policies
PreK-5th graders are allowed to check out two books at a time as long as their accounts are in good standing. All checkout periods are for two weeks. Overdue notices will be sent home with the student when a book has been overdue for a month.
Ms. Moore is happy to make parents their own library account. All she will need to do this is a phone number and the name of your child’s classroom teacher.
The Hill Library catalog can be searched from home through this website. To access the district provided databases, click the appropriate icon on the catalog web page and enter the user name and password. Contact Ms. Moore if you need a list of user names and passwords. You can also access the databases through the AISD portal.
