Would you like to mentor a student at Hill? Hill mentors work one-on-one with Hill students — typically once a week during lunch (30 minutes). Mentoring provides children with the caring and consistent presence of an adult friend, which research has shown to be a major protective factor in building resilience among at-risk youth. Mentoring also offers benefits for the mentor, including opportunities for personal growth, a deeper connection to the community, and a profound and caring relationship with a young person. Our adult mentors make an incredible difference in our students’ lives.
