It’s finally here! Teacher Appreciation Week is this week! We are excited to celebrate our phenomenal Hill classroom teachers, teaching assistants, and specials teachers who are the BEST from coast to coast! Dillos, get ready for Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 8th! Bike, roll, or walk to school and then meet at the Hill bike rack in the front to safely lock your bike and get a cool prize! May 10– ALL LIBRARY BOOKS DUE! Prize entry for those students who have cleared records by 3:00 May 10.Grand Prize is a summertime Squishmallow!
May 15-17– Summer Reading Book Swap. Please send donations to the library of gently used books. Students will receive a ticket for each book donated. (5 tickets max.) They can use the tickets to choose books to keep for summertime reading.

Last weekend a group of our 4th and 5th grade Dillos competed at Rouse High School. Zack Achariyokosol, Dean Haben, Logan Hyun, Wyatt Jenson, Jillian Nielson, Abbey Tang, Zach Thomason did a great job. Thank you to them and their coach, Braxton Thomason!

On Saturday May 4th we had 17 2nd and 3rd graders compete at the Division II Math Pentathlon tournament at Delco Activity Center. Our pentathletes were: Andy Yang, Avalyn Hyun, Diego Gutierrez-Bermeo, Elise Kettler, Eloise Hampton, Evan Hobbs, Finley Bernazal, Georgia Friesenhahn, Grace Friesenhahn, Hailey Greenspahn, Isla Nielson, Miles Goodrich, Neil Patwardhan, Oscar Deluna, Tongshi Zhang, Willa Minkser, and Wyatt Hobbs. This was a great group of students! The second and third graders were coached by Katie Hobbs and Aubree Friesenhahn.
Help! We are swimming in lost & found. Come take a lap in the sea of jackets and water bottles to see if you recognize any missing items. It could very well be there! Your reunion awaits, and you only have until May 10th.
