Hill Elementary School is having a blood drive! Come on in to lend a helping arm, and help us save local lives. We’ll be parked in front of the school in the Bloodmobile.
It’s easy! Just make an appointment online or call 512-206-1266 (mention code A751). Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome! If you have eligibility questions, check out We Are Blood’s website. For questions specific to this drive, email Melanie Waters at melwaters24@gmail.com.

We can’t wait to see you all tonight! Here are some tips to make the night SO FUN AND EASY!
PARKING: Follow the signs to P2 East Lot at Q2 Stadium, Captain Morgan Club (check out the mobility options graphic below).
ARRIVAL: We’ll see you promptly at 6:30pm! You don’t want to delay! When you arrive, check out the field and Hoopla showcased on the FC scoreboard.
PREP: Hop on over to bidpal this afternoon to 1) preview tonight’s buy-ins and auction items, and 2) set up your credit card so you don’t miss out on anything! (make sure your second/guest ticket is set up too so they don’t miss out on bidding and buying!)
SOCIAL MEDIA: Use #WEAREHILL to share tonight’s community-building!
JOIN IN: We are thrilled to see you in your green and black tonight! If you can’t make it, though, you can still participate in all-things-bidpal as long as you have a ticket!

Hill Heritage Week is NEXT WEEK! We have two exciting events planned: Heritage Fashion Show and International Book Reading.
Heritage Fashion Show – WEDNESDAY 4/13
Join us for the show, which kicks off at 7:50am. Participating students (those modeling clothing or carrying flags) should go straight to the library upon arrival. Participants will walk along the yellow route shown on the attached map. Parents are invited to watch the show anywhere along the red route. There is NO EXPECTATION for our participating Dillos to talk or perform. They will just walk in a parade-like fashion. If your Dillo wants to participate but is feeling shy, they are invited to simply bring their flag and join the parade that morning. We can’t wait to see all of our participants model clothing and carry flags that represent different countries and cultures from around the world! Participants are invited to enjoy breakfast treats and have their photographs taken after the show. The forecast shows a slight chance for rain on Wednesday. If it rains, we will keep the route inside the main building, and parents will be allowed inside to watch.
International Reading Week – MONDAY 4/11 through WEDNESDAY 4/13
Do you speak a language in addition to English? We have a couple of classrooms still in need of readers! We would love for you to come read a short book in another language to a Hill classroom. Our Dillos love this tradition, so dust off those books and come read! Click HERE to volunteer!

Hello Dillo Families,
Oops! Like lots of shipments lately, our wristband delivery was delayed! We’re sorry if we missed you today. We’ve added a couple of new pick up times, so swing by the front of the school for your pre-ordered wristbands Tuesday 3/1 at pick up, Wednesday 3/2 at drop off and pick up, or Thursday 3/3 at pick up. If you can’t make it during these times, it’s ok! You can pick up your pre-ordered wristbands Friday evening at Carnival just by stopping at Will Call. If you didn’t order your wristbands yet, it’s ok! You can buy wristbands Friday evening when you arrive at Carnival!
Eek! One more thing…we still have lots of Friday night volunteer-spot vacancies. Every classroom has been assigned a booth, and it has to be fully “staffed” for optimal Carnival safety and fun! Please check your class’ booth schedule and sign up here! If your class booth happens to be full when you check, please sign up for a spot at any available booth! We can’t wait to see everyone Friday evening for food trucks, dillo racing, haunted house, games, and fun!
