Did you miss the first general volunteer training sessions?  Don’t worry.  We will offer one more brief training before Mrs. Newton speaks at principal coffee on Thursday, Sept. 28th at 7:45am.  Mrs. Newton will also be sharing information on Writing Focus and School Wide Writing Contest!  We hope to see you Thursday.

Each month we celebrate teacher birthdays at one of the staff meetings.  We need 6 volunteers each month to donate a store bought or homemade cake or a healthy option that will serve 16-20 people.  The donated item can be delivered to the office by 2:00 the day of the birthday celebration. The cafeteria is seeking parent helpers during the kindergarten lunch hour (11am – 12pm) for the rest of September. Some of our kindergarteners need help navigating the lunch line and/or opening food packages, and the cafeteria staff would love some extra sets of hands to assist.
