Hill families, it’s Assistant Principal AND Library Appreciation Week! Let’s show these four women how grateful we are for them! Nancy Martinez and Ellana Selig, our Assistant Principals, do so much for our whole community, serving Hill’s staff, parents, and students with their expertise and kindness. Terri Kogel-Banda and Jennifer Moore, our Librarians, keep our students engaged in learning and always know exactly how to reach our readers with selections they can’t put down. Please remember to show them how appreciated they are this week. You are invited to send them handmade cards from your Dillos, yummy lunches, gift cards, or anything else you’d love for them to have! Reach out to April Beaty with any questions to appreciation@hillelementary.com.

We invite all of our Hill families to share their cultural heritages with the community, and we have two exciting events planned for the week of March 25-28th:

• The Heritage Parade will be held on Thursday, March 28th, after morning assembly. Kids can dress up and/or wave flags during the parade. Participation is optional but encouraged. Go HERE to sign up.
• International Book Reading: We would love for you to come read a short book (optionally, in another language) to a Hill classroom during Heritage Week. Our Dillos love this tradition, so dust off those books and come read to our children! Teachers are updating this list daily, so if you don’t see your teacher’s name then check back soon. Go HERE to sign up.

Strawbridge Studios will be here Wednesday, March 27th to take classroom photos of our Dillos! Keep an eye out for forms in Wednesday folders.

🎟️ Hoopla is quickly approaching (April 5th!) so make sure to buy your tickets HERE before the prices go up on April 1st.

☀️ While you’re there, be sure to grab an official Hoopla hat! It’s festive AND perfect for the upcoming summer sun. Your hoopla committee will be out front of the school on Thursday, March 28th in the morning and afternoon selling hats and passing out already purchased merchandise.
