**Water bottles will be given to the first 200 students who check in on race day!
Did you know that the Hill T-Shirts are designed by Hill Dillos? Specifically, 4th Graders design the student shirts. This year, we received nearly 200 insanely impressive submissions from the talented Class of 2026. The Selection Committee had such a hard time narrowing it down to a winner. Many thanks to all the students for their hard work and a giant congratulations to Addie Flaxbart. Addie was announced as the winner at Friday’s assembly and awarded a cookie cake with her winning design. Addie’s parents, Jenifer and David, were able to attend assembly to see Addie’s surprise! Addie shared her cookie cake with class — what a Dillo and what a lucky class!!!

Reminder: Volunteer of the Year Assembly & Reception is on Tuesday, May 1 at 8:00 a.m.! On this morning we will have a very short assembly at 7:35 a.m., then teachers will take students to their classroom to deposit their backpacks. Classes will return to the cafeteria at 8:00 a.m. for the assembly. Are you a Homeroom Parent, Field Trip Chaperone, Dillo Dad, Folder-Stuffer, Teacher Workroom Helper, Committee Chair, Event Helper, Math Pentathalon Helper, Classroom Helper, Office Assistant, or a Behind-the-Scenes Wizard? We at Hill Elementary want to celebrate YOU! Please join us for a special assembly honoring YOU and all that you do, followed by a reception in the library, with coffee and pastries, as a thank you from all of us at Hill Elementary. See you there!
Congratulations to all the Hill Dillos who ran in the Cap10K and brought home a 2nd place team plaque! Way to go Hill Dillos! Big Dillo cheer!
