Dear Hill Community,

We are proud of the hard work our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have put in this year as they prepare to take STAAR tests this week! Here is our schedule:

• Tuesday, May 10th: 3rd, 4th, 5th STAAR Math Exam
• Wednesday, May 11th: 3rd, 4th, 5th STAAR Reading Exam
• Thursday, May 12th: 5th Grade STAAR Science Exam (3rd/4th Make-Up)
• Friday, May 13th: Make-Up Day for Any Missed Exams due to Absences

We also want to give some reminders for our whole community for this upcoming week. We will not be able to have adults/volunteers on campus during the three STAAR testing days. If you have a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader, thank you for ensuring they arrive on time for testing days by 7:40 am when the bell rings so they can be prepared. We also encourage a lot of sleep the night before and a healthy breakfast the morning of. Please ensure your student brings healthy snacks and a book to read each day. These things matter! Let’s give a big Dillo Cheer to our students and teachers who are ready to show their Dillo Best throughout this week. We know all of our students will make us very proud.

On Friday, bring the whole family out to the 10th Annual Dillo Dash at Hill Elementary! It’s back and better than ever with a Color Run, Health Fair, and a Mini Run for Future Dillos! It will be a fun way to end a busy week.
