We Need You

Kinder Dismissal – Our fabulous kinder teachers could use a second set of hands to help with dismissal the first two weeks of school! Please sign up if you can help. On your day, please sign in with the office and go straight to the classroom and the teacher will let you know how you can help.

Outside Lunch Monitor – Several classes are eating lunch outside this year, weather permitting. Help us keep an eye on these kiddos and keep them safe! We will contact you to schedule your volunteer shift(s) when we have your completed background check from APIE.

Homeroom Parents – Several of our teachers still need homeroom parents. As a homeroom parent, you serve as a facilitator between teachers, parents, admins, and the PTA. You also get to show appreciation for your teacher on their birthday and during Teacher Appreciation Week. Please sign up!

Important – All volunteers need to (1) register with Austin Partners in Education (APIE). Registration includes a background check. APIE requests a donation but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE TO REGISTER. To register without donating, click on the blue link that says “I prefer to register without making a donation.” All volunteers also need to (2) sign the Confidentiality Agreement every school year.  Please sign and email to Hanna at hanna.curran@austinisd.org.  Questions?
