Beat the Summer Slide

Beat the Summer Slide and Take AISD’s 5 Book Dive!  Research shows that reading just five books can protect students from a drop in reading levels known as the “summer slide.”  Dillos, read anything that you want!  It’s your choice!  Keep track of what you read on the 5 Book Dive bookmark.  Bring it to school in August to be recognized as an AISD Summer Reader.  You’re also invited to take your completed bookmark to our district partner Book People, for a $5 gift certificate!  Here are some great lists for reading by grade-level.
