AISD Bond Information

As we approach an AISD bond election in November, the district has prepared fact sheets to help the community understand the impact the bond will have on individual campuses. You can see Hill’s fact sheet here.

To alleviate overcrowding, Hill is slated for a modern 2-story, 10 classroom addition; a separate gym; expanded cafeteria, library and playground areas; additional parking; and redesigned flex spaces. Additionally, the plan calls for relocating the administrative offices to the front of the school, improving campus security. The old office space will then be used as additional classrooms or FLEX space. This is the first phase in a planned expansion of Hill’s permanent capacity with additional expansion projects planned for future bond propositions.

The fact sheet is meant to provide a rough sketch, not a detailed plan. Once the bond is passed in November, the district will finalize plans based on feedback from the Hill community. If you have questions about the bond, contact Kim Franks at or Kristin Ashy, FABPAC member, at
